Job Description
An IT Cloud Software Development Company based in Sydney, Australia is in URGENT need of JUNIOR LINUX ADMINISTRATOR for their growing team in their Cebu office:
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Fulltime (Remote)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing and administering Linux servers.
- Support the implementation of basic automation and system optimization tasks.
- Support customers by troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Learn and assist in basic system configuration and maintenance tasks.
- Research and explore new technologies and tools under the guidance of senior team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related college degree
- Basic proficiency in Linux (any of: Amazon Linux, Redhat / CentOS, Ubuntu / Debian).
- Familiarity with system administration tasks such as user management, file systems, and permissions.
- Experience with: Apache or NGINX, MySQL or PostgreSQL, Email service (POP3/SMTP)
- Bonus if experienced in managing Cpanel / WHM and / or AWS Cloud
- Willingness to learn advanced Linux system administration and shell scripting.
- Good English communication skills both verbal and written
